Week 36 of Your Baby’s Development

Welcome to the final month! Your baby is the size of papaya fruit!

What Your Baby is Doing

Your baby is starting to lose most of the fine down that covered their body. The vernix caseosa, a waxy substance that was protecting their skin until now, is also beginning to disappear.

What Your Body is Doing

Because the baby is dropping, you may develop what is known as the “pregnancy waddle.” This comes from a combination of pressure on your pelvis and your body getting ready for birth by producing a hormone that loosens ligaments. This is natural for many pregnant women.

What You Should Eat

Red bell peppers are an excellent food choice. Not only is this veggie the perfect snack to have sliced raw, or grilled with some tacos, it is also super healthy. Red Bell Peppers are loaded with vitamins, including Vitamin A, vitamin B6, and vitamin C.
